Singleblessedness

Life is short.

Single life is shorter.

I know that someday I will need to be stooping in front of an oven and stepping behind a stroller.

Right now, I am happy to take on the streets of New York with my gold flats and Rafe bag.

Life is short. Go to church.

Are we there yet?

"Do you have a girlfriend na?"

"When are you going to get married?"

"When are you having a baby?"

"When are you having an apo?"

(I’m surprised they’re not asking "When are you going to die?" Thank God though.)

I hate hearing those kinds of questions, and think that people ask them just for small talk - because they really don’t know you enough to ask more interesting or relevant questions.

I never ask these questions because I know the interviewee wonders about them himself.

In due course,we will all get there. We don’t have to ask when. Because we certainly don’t know the answers anyway.
