Rollercoaster Ride

I don’t know who wrote this-or said this, but I saw it once - lost it, but never forgot it:

It took one call and an email back to find it:

         "I read because one of these
         days I’m going to get out of this
         town and I’m going to go
         everywhere and meet everyone,
         and I want to be ready."

I have gone and I’ve met and I was definitely ready.
